This Privacy Policy describes how Franchise KI ("Franchise KI," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information in connection with the Franchise KI Brand Showcase website located at showcase.franchiseki.com (the "Site") and the related services we offer to franchise brands and franchisor teams, including listing claims, listing updates, featured placement, and broker-led lead support (collectively, the "Services").

The Site is a business-to-business service directed to franchise brand owners, franchisor executives, and franchise development, marketing, and sales professionals. It is not directed to consumers seeking to purchase a franchise; those visitors should use our consumer-facing site at franchiseki.com, which is governed by its own posted policies.

By using the Site or submitting information through it, you acknowledge this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with it, please do not use the Site.

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide to us

When you submit the inquiry form on the Site, we collect the information you enter, which includes:

• First and last name;
• Work email address;
• Phone number;
• Franchise brand name;
• Your role or title;
• Franchise category;
• Number of open or target territories;
• Your selected primary interest (for example, claiming or updating a listing, featured placement, or broker-led lead support); and
• Any other information you choose to provide in later communications with us, such as emails, calls, or text messages.

Information collected automatically

Our hosting and infrastructure providers automatically collect limited technical information when you visit the Site, such as IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, referring URLs, pages viewed, and the dates and times of access. This information is collected through standard server logs and is used for security, fraud prevention, debugging, and operating the Site.

The Site does not set advertising or social-media tracking cookies, and we do not run third-party advertising or analytics scripts on the Site. If that changes in the future, we will update this Privacy Policy before doing so.

Information from other sources

To verify that you are authorized to represent a franchise brand and to review a brand's listing status, we may collect or confirm information from publicly available sources, including the brand's own website, Franchise Disclosure Documents, state and federal filings, business registries, professional profiles, and industry directories, and we may combine that information with the information you provide.

2. How We Use Information

We use the information described above to:

• Respond to your inquiry and communicate with you about your brand's listing, featured placement, broker-led lead support, and related Services;
• Verify your identity and your authority to act on behalf of the franchise brand you identify;
• Review, create, claim, correct, or update a brand listing on the Franchise KI platform;
• Provide, administer, bill for, and improve the Services;
• Send you marketing and informational communications about Franchise KI services for franchise brands, which you may opt out of at any time as described below;
• Maintain the security and integrity of the Site and our systems, and prevent fraud and abuse;
• Comply with applicable law, enforce our agreements, and establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

3. Telephone, Text, and Email Communications

By submitting the inquiry form and checking the consent box, you agree that Franchise KI and those acting on its behalf may contact you at the email address and phone number you provide — including by phone call, email, and SMS/text message, and including through automated technology — about your franchise brand listing, featured placement, broker-led lead support, and related services. Your consent is not a condition of purchasing any product or service.

• Text messages: Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text message from us to opt out of further texts, or HELP for help.
• Email: You may opt out of marketing emails at any time by using the unsubscribe link included in each marketing email or by emailing us at privacy@franchiseki.com. We may still send you non-marketing, transactional messages relating to an active inquiry or service.
• Phone: You may ask us to stop calling you at any time during a call or by emailing privacy@franchiseki.com.

4. How We Share Information

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share personal information with third parties for their own cross-context behavioral advertising. We share information only as follows:

• Service providers. We share information with vendors that perform services on our behalf, such as our customer relationship management (CRM) platform, website and serverless-function hosting, email delivery, SMS delivery, and telephone services. These providers are permitted to use the information only to perform services for us.
• Within the brand relationship. If you submit an inquiry on behalf of a franchise brand, we may reference your inquiry and contact information in our communications with other authorized representatives of that same brand, for example to resolve competing or duplicate listing claims.
• Legal compliance and protection. We may disclose information if we believe in good faith that disclosure is required by law, subpoena, or other legal process, or is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Franchise KI, our users, or others.
• Business transfers. If Franchise KI is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of all or part of its assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this Privacy Policy.

5. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including maintaining business records of brand inquiries, listing claims, and service relationships; complying with legal, accounting, and reporting obligations; resolving disputes; and enforcing agreements. When information is no longer needed for these purposes, we delete it or de-identify it.

6. Your Choices and Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights under applicable privacy laws with respect to your personal information, such as the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you, and the right not to receive discriminatory treatment for exercising those rights.

To make a request, email privacy@franchiseki.com with the subject line "Privacy Request" and describe your request. We will verify your identity using the contact information associated with your inquiry before responding, and we will respond within the time required by applicable law. You may use an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf; we may ask the agent for proof of authorization.

Please note that we may retain certain information where retention is required or permitted by law, such as records needed for legal compliance, security, or dispute resolution.

7. Security

We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information, including transmitting form submissions over encrypted connections and restricting access to the systems where inquiry data is stored. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Children
